Originally, the term "Dinée" was used to designate the inn where you stopped to eat during a journey. The "Dinée" had to be the same height as the "coucher".
A bistronomic restaurant nurtured by the creativity of its Chef, La Dinée du Viguier in Figeac offers seasonal cuisine. Gourmets and connoisseurs are welcomed to savour the flavours in the newly refurbished guards' room of the château.
Since February 2025, Grégory Diu has been the new chef at La Dinée du Viguier. His cuisine is authentic and generous, based on carefully selected produce and respect for the seasons. His balanced, gourmet dishes express his creativity and expertise, with particular attention to flavour and the quality of ingredients.
Set in a room of remarkable character, the restaurant reveals an authentic decor where time seems to stand still. Its old-fashioned fireplace, fine materials and warm atmosphere bear witness to the restaurant's rich past, providing an elegant and convivial setting. In fine weather, guests can also take advantage of the inner courtyard, a haven of tranquillity, to enjoy their meal al fresco in a peaceful and charming setting.
