From 21 June to 21 September, the H\u00f4tel Mercure Figeac Viguier du Roy is hosting an exhibition of works by Anne Arbus and Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Fabriol. This exhibition highlights the work of two artists who each use their own language and sensibility to create works that convey a message of beauty. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Anne Arbus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Anne Arbus is a painter, weaver and poet who trained at the Aubusson School of Decorative Arts. She has lived in Faycelles since the 1990s, and draws her inspiration from nature and her commitment to human rights and the environment. Her work combines painting, calligraphy and tapestry, which she sees as three complementary forms of expression, linked by the symbolic thread of \"textus\", which unites text and textile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Fabriol <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Fabriol is a photographer with a passion for the underground world, which he explores through speleological expeditions to the four corners of the globe. His work aims to reveal the hidden beauty of caves and nature. He is also interested in the reflections, shadows and movements of water, which he transforms into abstract images called\u00a0chromorphographies<\/em>. More recently, he has developed\u00a0kalographies<\/em>These are visual compositions based on symmetrical images, inspired by mandalas and kaleidoscopes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition\u00a0\"Language<\/strong>\u00a0brings together the artistic worlds of Anne Arbus and Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Fabriol, two artists who express their emotions and their view of the world through unique visual forms. Anne Arbus combines painting, calligraphy and tapestry to convey profound, committed and poetic messages, inspired by nature and major human issues. Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Fabriol, for his part, explores the hidden beauty of caves and natural reflections by creating abstract images called\u00a0kalographies<\/em>Both use art as a language beyond words, to touch, question and fill with wonder. Both use art as a language that goes beyond words, to touch, question and amaze. The exhibition invites visitors to engage in a sensitive dialogue between writing, images and materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
